About

“You are the most important person in your life.” J.P. Barral

Hi, I am Pia Wittwer and I have been an Osteopath for 15 years plus,

and I want to help you be the most important person in your life.

A firm background in science with a Master of Science in Molecular Biology (University of Bern, 1998) introduced me to the wonder of individual cells and the intricacies of how the immune system works. But I wanted more!

After emigrating to New Zealand in 2001, I wanted to apply the lessons from the study of the very small to the human body as a whole. Osteopathy fitted that brief and I graduated in 2009 from the Master of Osteopathy program at Unitec, NZ, after 5 years of full-time study.

In my many years of clinical practice I have gone on to study extensively to further my skillset in pelvic health and visceral osteopathy (osteopathy for internal organs). Check out my post graduate training below if you want.

When I am not working as an Osteopath, I am working on our homestead – either in the garden, the orchard or preserving food. I love cooking from scratch and make sourdough bread. Good food is great for good health.

It is our privilege to monitor and maintain our health. Book your first session today!
